I’ve always had a small leaning towards muscle cars, but seeing this at a car show in San Diego solidified it for me. I need this exact car in the future.

Wouldn’t this be classed as a sports car, much like the current Corvette? America’s fast cars are usually muscle cars, but I think this is an exception.

Yes. Corvettes have always been classified as sports cars. But, in common vernacular, big-block = muscle. Though I think this is an LT-1 car, not a big-block.
